I’m entering my ninth year covering northwest Washington state – a dynamic part of the Pacific Northwest with international connections across the North Cascades mountains and the Salish Sea. Top issues include climate change, management of hydroelectric dams on the Skagit River, and divisive plans to save Puget Sound salmon.
